At our publishing celebration today, we enjoyed listening to our classroom authors read their story. When we asked our young authors what they learned about each other, these were their responses:
·
Everyone is asking questions about what else
happened during the story
Our writers add really good details
Some authors are extra cool authors
A lot of authors were adding spaces between their
words
Some authors wrote about similar topics
We didn’t notice any white spaces (a lot of color)
Our authors had a lot of color and a lot detail
Our word wall words were spelled correctly
We’re all awesome writers!
It feels good when people are really listening to
the stories
We added punctuation (periods) and spaces
We read with (“super so much”) expression
We read with fluency and changed our voices
as we read
We made our people came to life by adding speech bubbles
Wow! What a list! We are so proud of our authors!
